The ASC offers a wealth of resources to DeVry students. Visit the ASC for any of the following:
Tutoring
ASC student tutors are upper term students who have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 and are recommended by at least 2 faculty members. They also participate in an extensive training program certified by the College Reading and Learning Association.
Faculty Tutors in many disciplines hold one or two office/ volunteer hours in the ASC per week, and two Writing Faculty Tutors regularly fulfill part of their course load by offering several hours of tutoring support per week.

Writing Center
This component of the ASC is managed by English Faculty members and the ASC Director. They can help you start, support, document, or edit your written work. For more information, click the Writing Center link near the top of this page for more details.
Mini-Sessions
These are small group sessions led by faculty members or FA’s in content area courses. Session times vary by term and can be requested by students or faculty. Click the Mini-Sessions link on the menu at the left for more details.
Success Seminars
These workshops are offered in a variety of subjects, including time managment, test-taking strategies, and preparing for finals. See Robin or the Addison Academic Advisors, Gail Davis and Darlene Norton (Room 264), for more information.
Rehearsal Space
You can contact Robin to reserve rehearsal space for your Senior Project or group presentation. She can also reserve equipment such as a laptop and projector. Faculty and student tutors can also provide feedback if you need it.
Computer Use & Quiet Study Space
The ASC offers computers and quiet study space in which to complete your work. Solution Manuals are available for certain math and accounting courses. Use your DeVry ID to check one out for use in the ASC.
