Services offered to businesses include On Campus Recruiting, Career Fairs, Co-op program and Senior Projects. In addition, the Career Services office maintains a strong relationship with businesses through the Advisory Board & Employer Services, inviting guest speakers at CARD (Career Development) classes, and in ongoing feedback from recruiting efforts.
There are many ways to tap into the talent available at DeVry. Career Services offers help to both graduates and businesses alike. The Staff helps companies searching for employees locate suitable DeVry graduates. Co-op and Senior Project assist later term DeVry students find jobs in their respective fields. This gives them the benefit of real world experience in addition to their curriculum before entering the marketplace.

Advisory Board
In its ongoing effort to foster the partnership between business and education, DeVry sponsors industrial Advisory Boards. These curriculum specific boards consist of representatives from companies who frequently hire grads, the faculty, admissions representatives, and the career advisor assigned to that curriculum.
The Advisory Board provides a unique opportunity to integrate knowledge from all of these areas. New members to the board are added by invitation only.

Finding a qualified person to fill a position is not always an easy task. The office of Career Services at DeVry not only assists students in their job search, but is also a major resource for companies seeking to fill open positions within their organizations.
Services offered to companies include:

* Three Career Fairs per year
We encourage you to utilize these services, which are offered to support the recruiting process of your organization. DeVry graduates three classes per year (February/March, June, and October), so there are always new graduates eagerly entering the work force. For employers seeking candidates with more experience, we also maintain a file of alumni resumes.

The Career Services Office will assist you to find full-time or part-time candidate to meet your staffing needs.
If you have a job opening, please e-mail, a brief description of the position, including education and experience required to jobleads@dpg.devry.edu. This information can also be called in to (630) 652 8601, or faxed to (630) 953 1236. A Career Advisor will then fax or email appropriate resumes to you. All job leads are entered into our on-line system for approximately 6 weeks after receipt, or until the position is filled.
If you would like to participate in an upcoming Career Fair, contact Career Services at (630) 953-1300 extension 8601. These events provide an excellent way to increase company name recognition, allow students to develop networking skills and encourage business-student relationships.
On Campus Recruiting
To schedule an On-Campus Recruiting date, contact the Career Services Office for details. An open sign-up chosen or you may opt to preselect candidates from resumes forwarded to you in advance. It is recommended that you make arrangements at least two weeks in advance of the date you want to interview.
